Vote NO on Proposal 2

Protecting Michigan Taxpayers is a growing, grassroots organization, which aims to keep Michigan moving forward by protecting smart, pro-growth policies and ensuring fairness for all taxpayers. The group is working diligently to defeat Proposal 2 – a scheme by Michigan’s government employee unions, that will forever enshrine their agenda into the Michigan constitution. If Proposal 2 is adopted it would have devastating consequences for our state, reversing over 170 common sense laws and reforms, costing taxpayers at least $1.6 billion a year, and jeopardizing Michigan’s economic comeback.

Michigan families have come together to turn around our state and they have made great strides toward rebuilding our economy. If the government employee union bosses have their way, however, we will turn back the clock and undo many critical reforms. Only by defeating Proposal 2 can our state continue to create jobs, maintain lower taxes, and keep our sons and daughters working here at home in Michigan.

Standing together again, we can continue Michigan’s recent progress. Protecting Michigan Taxpayers will fight against this constitutional hijacking scheme. By defeating Proposal 2 this November, Michigan taxpayers will ensure our state continues to move forward.
